I enjoy when groups remind me of a lot of different bands yet…I just can’t put my finger on it. Hailing from Orlando, Florida, Great Receivers meld a lot of familiar sounds together. A little progressive rock here, some jazz elements there, and aching vocals for a smooth layer on top.

Great Deceivers have recently released their sophomore album, Seasons in Reverse, which keeps up with the laid-back rhythms and old-school jazz influence. It’s a perfect album to ease you into your afternoon. Certainly not harsh on the ears, I hear a little bit of Minus The Bear in the vocals which I really dig.
