Without a consistent internet connection for the past week since moving I’ve been feeling severely out of the loop in terms of music. Thankfully a friend was looking out and brought to my attention Philadelphia’s Hop Along and their latest single they dropped, “Tibetan Pop Stars.”
If it weren’t for the clusterfuck of a day that yesterday was I would have posted it right then and there upon first listen. Better late than never right? Frances Quinlan’s vocals are fittingly raw against those loud screeching guitars. It’s crunchy and beautiful all in one. Maybe this is what my friend described as giving him chills? Either way any song I can sing the line, ”I’m going to be creeping on you so hard,” is always a winner in my book.
A must-download that you will massively enjoy. Also, keep a heads up since they just have finished their album Get Disowned.
