I should regret what I did, but I forget what I said.

Just when I start gushing over one Philadelphia band, another one pops up and I start the process all over again.

The Lawsuits pull at the folk strings of my heart. They truly are “no frills” just like they describe with their effortless melodies, boy/girl vocals, and any other instrument they decide to throw in there. I especially like that they fuse electric guitar riffs with banjo picking over top in their song, “Hot Girl Makes a Porno” which is off their upcoming EP, Hot Love.

But wait! They team up with the hip-hop locals, Ground Up and create this fantastic rework of “Turn Around.” I love this city.
