It’s a war that’s always fought and never won.

As I find myself waking up in my childhood home south of the Mason Dixon line, it seems rather fitting of a day to listen to one of my favorite folk acts, Horse Feathers.

I love the traditional instruments and most of all, that unique and sorrowful voice from singer Justin Ringle. And once joined by the rest of the group to create larger, more lush harmonies, you’re almost stopped dead in your tracks.
