Sometimes I find it so hard to believe that part of you was once a part of me.

Although I like to pretend this blog isn’t specific to one city or another – I have a super special little place in my heart for Philadelphia’s amazingly talented music scene. I feel truly lucky to be such a music-head and to reside in one of the nation’s coolest cities. Just sayin’.

Anyways, one of those artists is someone I recently stumbled upon – . In his latest release, which is actually a re-recording of a 7 year old demo track, Billy Polard does an incredible job at tugging at the heart strings.  Deeply nostalgic and utterly honest, I love the simple strumming of the acoustic guitar and the piano that sits so nicely in the background.
