That’s what you said one morning.

That’s what you said one morning.

It’s that time of year again. I’m not talking about pumpkin-spice bullshit. I’m talking about when the leaves change, they fall, and Folk is what it’s all about. Like the seasons, my ears and taste change on the regular. My moods and perhaps the chillier temps really bring out a different desire in what I want to listen to.

And thankfully, there’s not a lack of it.

The track intros slowly, a stripped down version of what is about to unload on us.  latest single, “Crabapples in the Century’s Storm,” is a long-form anecdotal song. The instruments are crashing, the piano sounds controlled yet frantic, and the content, well, that’s for you to hone in on. I simply love how it all feels so stream-of-consciousness.

Listen up, and keep alert, these guys are dropping a new record, Sitcom Afterlife, on November 11th.
