It’s been quite a dry spell over here in terms of music. Life just caught up real hard and I haven’t had the luxury to simply dig. Hell, even my home stereo is on the fritz. I’ve been severely lacking.
All of that quickly came to a change this morning the second I came across debut full length, “A Shedding Snake.” Singer Cara Beth Satalino’s voice really reminds me of The Weepies, that laid-back style and just the slightest hint of twang. From start to finish, I’m left with the feeling of hitting the repeat button, aching for more. Beyond being thoroughly impressed with such a complete debut full-length, I want September to hurry on up and get here so I can catch these guys live.
