Like I’ve mentioned in the previous post (and others older), I’m a sucker for meaningful lyrics. They don’t have to be extremely elaborate, simple prose can be just as riveting.

Any indie-pop outfit can easily can lost in the sea of talent out there but Blind Pilot has found their niche. They balance pop-folk so nicely that it appears like an old, familiar home..a perfect broken-in sound.

“One Red Thread” is off the group’s debut, 3 Rounds And A Sound, which they supported by doing a bicycle tour back in 2008. Blind Pilot have been steadily working since then and have just recently put out We Are The Tide, which features the track below, “Keep You Right.” It’s eloquent folk-rock. Check out their tour schedule, this time opting for a van.
