We got hours on you now.
And it begins..
Man, what do I have to say about this band. These two individuals alone have incredible talent and then combining them? Listen to “The Rain,” my most favorite song from this duo. It has a great bass line that kicks in and carries the song all the way to the end. Marketa’s voice blends amazingly with Glen Hansard’s. I could go on and on here is what I am trying to say. I was very fortunate to have a chance to see them at Merriam Theater in Philadelphia a year ago. It was one of the best live shows I have ever seen. The two have a stage presence that captures the audience and doesn’t let go and you leave the show wanting just one. more. song. I will absolutely NOT miss them at Coachella. Whatever they call themselves nowadays, they are always solid. Catch the indie flick, Once, starring the two of them..cute.

In These Arms – The Swell Season
Falling Slowly – The Frames feat. Marketa Irglova
I remember the day I found Dallas Green and his lovely voice and guitar strumming sing-alongs. I listened to “Save Your Scissors” and it was over. I was an instant fan, I knew I would love every single one of his songs from that day forward. A couple years back when I was purchasing tickets to see Tegan & Sara at the Electric Factory I noticed City and Colour was going to open for them. I was thrilled. Dallas did great as an opening act and even came on during Tegan & Sara’s set and played a bit. I suppose if you were a Dashboard fan at some point in your life you can see the similarities, I suppose. Apparently he’s in the studio recording which is all being tracked here. Have a listen, I think Dallas has got something up his sleeve planned for Coachella.
