I will wait forever, always looking straight.

Long car trips and weekends equal creating playlists that can endure the mileage and my attention span.

Grimes’ recent track, “Oblivion,” was almost too perfect to jump start my drive. It’s like electronic doo-wop in the very best of ways, similar to the way Little Dragon owns their sound. In her video, I love that Claire Boucher has no qualms of singing her song at various sporting events. She’s completely out there and that’s totally everything I enjoy.

Watch below and be sure to download the third track off her recently released album, Visions.

Gordon Voidwell just released a new video for his song, “XO Boyfriend,” and in it he recreated Whitney Houston’s video for “How Will I Know.”

Compare the two below:

Voidwell just released his MalcomXXXMcLaren mixtape which you can grab for free here. We get more of that signature funk sound that we come to expect from Gordon as well as some doo-wop, blues, 80′s hip hop, and a song that sounds like it could have been on a early 90s/late 80s Ghostbusters soundtrack. Check out the aforementioned tracks below and then go listen to the rest of the entire mixtape.
