Since I’ve been the solo female around this place for quite some time now (finally adding Chels to the testosterone-filled mix), I usually feel it’s my duty to bring the emotional and yes, sometimes sappy side to the blog.
This last week I’ve been hurriedly getting ready for my cousin’s wedding in DC in which I was a bridesmaid for. And let me tell you, the Hay-Adams was not prepared for these dance moves on Sunday. Nor was the rest of my family who I’m sure assumed I was off my ass on wine.
Anyways, the wedding got me to really enjoy the moment, live in the present-tense, and just appreciate all those who surround me in my own little world. I was standing up by that altar (for almost an hour in 4 inch heels..) just watching two people who were incredibly in love with each other make the ultimate commitment. It was god damn beautiful I tell you.
