Perhaps the closest I ever got to seeing Jeff Mangum & Co (also known as the infamous Neutral Milk Hotel) was a couple of years back when I saw a cover band called Neutral Uke Hotel who are in and of themselves absolutely awesome at what they do..but..

not close AT ALL. I know.

So, add another reason why this year’s Coachella music festival will be like none other in the past. Sure classics like Refused, At The Drive-In, Mazzy Star will all be there. Hell, there’s even going to be a Dre and Snoop headlining show but I’m willing to bet you Jeff Mangum’s set will be just as packed. For the die-hard indie fans, Mangum acts as divinity. NMH were iconic during their run and a set by Jeff is incredibly rare and sure to be notable.
