Live Jonwayne Action Supplies!

The other night I saw the homie Action Bronson along with Party Supplies and Jonwayne  in Brooklyn. It was awesome.

Here are some pictorials.

It would’t be right to leave you without some tunes. Some old and new stuff from everybody:

Action Bronson & Riff Raff – Bird On A Wire

Action Bronson – Shiraz

Action Bronson – Steve Wynn

Jonwayne – Andrew

Jonwayne – Stacking Corpses

Jonwayne – Dat Ass

Party Supplies – New York 2017

Party Supplies – Guy Friends

Fitz and the Tantrums – Money Grabber (Party Supplies Remix)

Blue Chips – Bronsalino

Ever since he released “Dr Lector,” Action Bronson’s notoriety (as well is his beard and stomach) have been getting bigger and bigger. And rightfully so. This guy has a fantastic flow. He’s got that real rap, throwback storytelling approach to his craft, and his newest mix tape, Blue Chips, is a fine testament to that. In not only Action’s flow and approach to the mic, but also in the tape’s overall production (handled by Brooklyn’s Party Supplies). This just has a great mixtape feel to it; solid use of samples and good raps.

Just press play below and let it ride.

Enjoy

*on a side note, I love the movie Blue Chips. Nick Nolte at his best.

Flood – The American Dollar

It’s been a week since I’ve posted an instrumental

right? Maybe a couple of days..

Well anyways, The American Dollar are an NYC based ambient/instrumental group that create spacious and driving soundscapes that demand to be in your iTunes library.

I really dig the soft piano intro, the light electronica, and the soaring anthemic guitars that give their track, “Flood” such an immense and powerful feeling. The duo are getting ready to release Awake In The City on the 24th but if you’re looking for more music check their back catalogue, there’s a good bit of it available for free.

That’s where I’m headed now, right-click and enjoy.
