affair I have?
Meet Sarah Jaffe, Texas native born and bred. She’s been making beautiful tunes for years now, and popping up here and there on industry radars. For me, the love is simple. She’s got this voice that’s heart-wrenching, evoking that emotion from the pit of the bottom of your stomach. Her words are honest and the minimal simplicity of her songs overwhelm my ears.
I just fucking love her voice, to be honest. She’s up there in my book like half of Azure Ray, Maria Taylor (I got love for you too Orenda..). Fun fact? A year or two ago I used “Clementine” on a playlist I submitted for a job at a record label …I got the job, needless to say (heyyyYY).
She’s got plans this summer for a US tour with the Old 97′s and Centro-Matic so make sure you check this page out. With that being said, I better remember she’ll be around my east-coast parts in June..oh I can’t wait.
