I’ve been listening to ASAP Rocky’s latest mixtape over the past couple of days and it’s been making me miss the summer. The slow laid back tempo of much of the album reminds me of the hazy days of summer where you enjoy the weather but you don’t feel much like moving. The song “Trilla” is probably the best example of this.

If I were to put a visual to the guitar sample used it would be the illusion that happens on roads when the sun beats down on them with a fury. You know, the one that makes the roads look wet? Either that or when everything seems a little wavy because the ground is so hot. When I listen to this song I want nothing more than to be sitting in a kiddie pool in the backyard of a beach house with all of my friends.
