metaPhysical – Long Walks on the Beach I threw this on a mix I made a couple of weeks ago and every single time I hear it come on over my car stereo I immediately want to blog about it.  Well, here I am finally doing that.  I can’t say I know much about this guy but he does hail from DC which makes me love him already.  He’s just got the right amount of lo-fi mixed with the right amount of pop, key to my heart.

Social Studies – Body Language These guys are kinetic, full of energy.  Originally starting as a bedroom DIY (who doesn’t these days..) has now formed into a full-fledged band.  This is a fun track and I’m digging the space ship blips.  Download download download.

Get Some - Lykke Li I snagged this song up last week when everyone was blogging away about it.  I downloaded it and gave it some time to sink in.  I approve.  Lykke Li always keeps things interesting, she’s creative to the core.  I always enjoy when this Swede pops up on the blogs and I hear just a little more of her.
