A quick post and some highlights from downloading this week so far..
Our Hearts Are Wrong – Jessica Lea Mayfield This song actually sparked me to write this blog today. I can’t stop listening to it on repeat. She sings so effortlessly about something so heartbreaking. This is her first single off her new album that’s due out February 2011. Can’t. Wait.
Cliff Jump Love Song – Teen Daze Teen Daze has made some incredible growth within the past couple of months. Most noticeably is this more stripped down sound, not so much synths/midi from what we heard all summer. This is from Beach Dreams which you can check out here.
Baby Drugs – Tristen This is just a great song to follow Teen Daze.
BONUS: A Darkness Rises Up – Broken Records I really like the energy from the very start, just sets the pace for the entire song. Yeah, this Scottish band sounds a bit like The Killers and it’s pretty listener friendly.
