And you stayed up to see the sun.

Sorry it’s been a bit since I’ve shared some music lately but my life has been consumed by many things.  As usual, I keep my ears out and trust me, I’ve got some gems for you today.

Eyes Wide Open – Gotye Don’t let this song allow you to think you’ve got artist, Wally De Backer’s sound pegged.  I like his strong vocals, especially in this song.  The fast rhythm keeps you interested and the lyrics are great.  The rest of his music ranges vastly from electronic, jazzy-percussion to indie/alternative.  Check out  ”Heart‘s a Mess” and “The Only Way” if you want to hear more of his eclectic mix.

Lions In Cages – Wolf Gang Solid UK music in my book.  This song is Max McElligot’s first single off his forthcoming album, Suego Faults.

Aminals – Baths HOW HAVE I NOT POSTED ABOUT THIS SONG???!  Yeah, that’s how I feel about this one, just download it..please.  And who can resist the photo I chose, seriously.

Sink/Let It Sway – Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin Throwing you guys some classic indie-pop, isn’t it lovely?  These guys have been around for quite some time now.  Currently they’re on tour with Tokyo Police Club..now that sounds like a good show but unfortunately for me they’re staying south of the Mason Dixon.  Damn.  Anywho, have a listen.

Babel Feat. Martina Topley-Bird – Massive Attack This song is just hot.  Massive Attack, brilliant as always.

Record Collector – Lissie Yes, yes.  Lissie is a great artist.  I just never got caught up in the hype you know?  But this song…yeah, it grew on me.  She speeds it up, then slows it down – you know I love that shit!  The crescendo at the end, oh man right-click away.

Enjoy.
