Revisits.

Going to get a bit nostalgic here, hang in there.
The group, Copeland, was an absolute daily listen back when I was in high school. Sweet lyrics, distinct vocals, falling somewhere between the lighter side of indie-rock and emo. They dabbled in whatever interested them, and seemed to always progress their sound with each album going forward. Unfortunately like many groups, they went their separate ways. And soon, I listened less and less, moving my taste in new directions as well.
I loved their piano-centric tracks, their driving guitars, and airy acoustics. They were able to change moods quite often which was perfect for my teenage years. So when they came on the other day on my shuffle I found it as an excuse to see if anything at all was going on related to them. I’m not going to offer much of an opinion on the outcome, just that it is in the form of a band called States who are made up of former Copeland and Lydia members. You can check out their music here. Interesting, no?
With that being said, travel back and revisit one of my angsty-past favorites.
