How unreal it feels to still be sitting in this house, my very own bed, waiting for sunrise, waiting for the start of this day.
Two weeks have come and gone, new friends have been made, old friends reunited, and so much expanding of my own self that I actually felt quite fatigued by the end of trip. Originally I went overseas for work, and once that was finished I was able to play, then finally, some meaningful bonding with family. To be able to combine so many passions of mine in one trip, it was incredible.
But, all good things come to an end. They say that, right? After hours spent in customs, miles spanned on the East Coast rail system, I am finally home. A place I settled in when I was 17 years young, and have yet to find anywhere more special to me than this city. I can’t explain the feeling I get that consumes me when I walk in a new city, hear a different language, see everything in a contrasted light. Maybe it’s just me, but it’s an incredible feeling that I love to chase.
Anyways..I’m back y’all. Ready to start the sharing again – since, I feel when you travel you must be in the present. Not sitting here on my computer typing away. No apologies necessary for that. Thanks to those who’ve hung around, posts will be returning this week.
