Sepia tones, strong winds, and desolate landscapes set the mood for the latest Etsy treasury Chelsea has curated. As always, click on each individual picture to be taken to the direct artist/seller’s purchasing page.
In an industry where lines have been slowly blurring over the years, two young fellows take the scene by the horns and display their taste-making skills with the creation of Opus Label.
With the intent to “unify sound and vision,” Miguel Jiménez and Jeremy Wineberg seek sophisticated talent with their boutique record label. On top of attracting fresh, new music these two gentleman are quickly developing other projects such as Desert Nights which essentially brings “Hollywood to the desert.” I thoroughly enjoy their ICON TEE concept as well.
Tomorrow (February 28th), the duo will be dropping Opus Label Compilation One that holds a slew of tracks from artists such as Joywave, Matt Van Schie (Van She), Boat Club, and more along with an impressive photo book that features the worldly photography, Dirk Mai.
Listen to a few teaser tracks below and stay tuned to Opus Label, I’m sure this is just the very beginning.
After last week’s anxiety-fest of obtaining Coachella tickets (I was successful!), this Etsy treasury that Chelsea coincidentally curated came at the right time. With concrete plans for April, I’m now beginning to figure out my trip west (unfortunately for my bank account).
As always, click on each individual picture to be taken to the artist/seller’s purchasing page and make sure to listen to the coinciding track below.
If you’re a frequent reader of the blog then you probably have noticed the posts where I feature Chelsea’s Etsy treasuries. Her latest titled “Shape it up” made the Etsy front page today and after you check it out here you’ll see why. My favorite item is the bow tie, duh. Chelsea and I used to joke about how this bitter cold weather makes you literally want to scream into the wind any moment you find yourself outside.
I may have done that a handful of times already today but, if you’re fortunate enough to be spending the majority of your time inside then check out Chelsea’s latest Etsy curation. The mix of brown and black tones blend amazingly. Make sure to click on each individual picture to be taken to the artist/seller’s site for direct purchasing.
