In an industry where lines have been slowly blurring over the years, two young fellows take the scene by the horns and display their taste-making skills with the creation of Opus Label.
With the intent to “unify sound and vision,” Miguel Jiménez and Jeremy Wineberg seek sophisticated talent with their boutique record label. On top of attracting fresh, new music these two gentleman are quickly developing other projects such as Desert Nights which essentially brings “Hollywood to the desert.” I thoroughly enjoy their ICON TEE concept as well.
Tomorrow (February 28th), the duo will be dropping Opus Label Compilation One that holds a slew of tracks from artists such as Joywave, Matt Van Schie (Van She), Boat Club, and more along with an impressive photo book that features the worldly photography, Dirk Mai.
Listen to a few teaser tracks below and stay tuned to Opus Label, I’m sure this is just the very beginning.
Traveling At The Speed Of Light (30 sec) – Joywave
Laserflies (30 sec) – Keljet
Kid Who (30 sec) – Jupiter
