You can go hard or you can go home

I was a bit excited when I found out that Mick Jagger had been featured on a dance track with Will.I.Am of the Black Eyed Peas.

I enjoy some mindless fist pumping music just as much as the next bro (it’s not mindless if you appreciate the sound design that is involved in synthesis) and my dad was a Stones fan so I grew up liking them, too.

I was disappointed when I first heard the original track, however, as I felt it lacked a bit of energy and punch. R3hab just fixed all that by dropping this free remix of the track a few days ago. While the original track may go home, this one goes hard…like a boner (pun credited to Will.I.Am).

Songs For Your Weekend Moods: Sahara Tent Edition

Like many music festivals, Coachella is broken down in a number of different stages all along the grounds that it’s held on. Typically, the larger outdoor stages are for bigger and mostly indie acts while the Sahara Tent…well, that’s something special.

Above is a picture from last year’s tent and my god was it beautiful. Chandeliers of LED lights is all I can suffice from my poor memory but it truly was a piece of electronic art. The Sahara Tent is where festival-goers will want to plant themselves if they’re looking for a massive dance party. All of the top DJs of the festival play under these lights and it’s a location that I dedicate an entire night to.

This year’s lineup is super house and trance heavy. I’m excited as hell so here’s a slew of tracks from the confirmed lineup that will be sure to set your weekend moods off.

Icarus (Keys n Krates Remix) – Madeon

Must Be The Feeling (Delta Heavy Remix) – Nero

Save The World (Haunted Edit) – Swedish House Mafia

We Found Love (R3hab Extended Mix) - Rihanna feat. Calvin Harris

Daydreamer feat. Example – Flux Pavilion

Lightspeed (Original Mix) – Kill The Noise & Datsik
