New York’s REverb Rock is a mixture of many things. He throws beats under ambient electronica, or sometimes he includes Teen Daze/Passion Pit-esque vocals on a track. It completely varies, and I think that’s what I really enjoy most about his new release, Fables.
Fans of anything along the experimental electronic spectrum will enjoy listening through the entire 6-track EP.

Lindsey just shot this track my way this morning because she thought it was up my alley. She was right, it is.
The track itself sounds like a nice morning on a spring day in the jungle in a place that resembles Fern Gully. That image immediately popped into my mind, and I don’t take drugs, so it has to be real.
I’m currently going through the rest of REverb Rock’s album and I’m digging the whole chilled out vibe. In the description, he notes that it is supposed to take your musical tombolo and throw you into the sea. With me, he’s accomplished his goal.
