[Nice In The Headphones] Alcantara – Indian Wells

I was first taken aback by  back when they released their tennistronic-esque album, Night Drops. I was amazed at how they could run with such an abstract idea, and make some damn good ambient music out of it.

The Italian-based collective is back, sounding tight and multi-dimensional in their newest single, “Alcantara,” off of the upcoming release, Pause LP (grab the pre-order here). Sweeping effects and a slow, slow build – this is one track to listen to from start to finish, in your own head with the rest of a world a blur.
