The twenties are a strange place.
It seems the most learning to be done is outside of the traditional school system. Nothing has brought more knowledge to me than the experiences I’ve laid claim to in the past few years. The solo traveling through Europe, the scraping-it between jobs, the string of multi-year relationships. It all pales in comparison when I look at the big picture of it all. Because, collectively, all of these things really make up just one big thing. Something that’s in constant evolution and growth. And that’s me.
Last week felt like crunch time. Beginning of the quarter, first week of the year, big goals to meet. This week, there’s a different vibe in the air. It’s like getting over that initial hill and seeing a short distance of plateaus before things get choppy again. It’s exciting, thrilling perhaps. There’s some milestones to climb in 2016 and plenty more new experiences to keep shaping the mold.
