I can’t even explain to you how heavy I laid into Odesza’s last EP, Summer’s Gone, this past Summer actually. Burned onto some blank CD, that album sits right in the middle console of my car just waiting to get some more play.
Their newest release (which dropped about a month ago), My Friends Never Die, is a weighty 6-track EP. Certainly a different tone but still the same amazing production that makes my head spin. And it’s all available for free.
Oh, wow. I just absolutely adore everything new coming out of the duo, Phantogram. I’ve always been a fan of their heavy electro-sound, but this new work is something else. Catch their latest single, “Celebrating Nothing,” below and check out the rest of their 4-track EP they released today.
This will have to do until the full length is out. I can’t wait for the remixes.

Sweet vocals, dreamy choruses and oscillating synths..Stockholm’s electro duo W&Ikeep producing weighty anthems. I’m really impressed with what these two are doing. Here’s hoping they make their way across the Atlantic Ocean – until then, keep track of them here.
Thrashing about with an immense amount of energy, Brick + Mortar’slatest EP release, Bangs, is clamoring and absolutely off the wall.
We’ve fallen in love with previous singles such as the lovely, “Heatstroke,” or the raw, abrasive title-track, “Bangs.” Yet, today finally marks the duo’s EP release which is a cohesive and quick snippet of what these boys can really throw down. Here’s hoping our ears get a full album in the near future, but Bangswill certainly be getting some heavy rotation until then.
Australia’s GREYJOY are more than hazy synths, jangly rhythms, and lo-fi vocals. I’m enjoying their lyrical content just as much and find myself repeatedly listening to their tracks over and over again.
From a shimmering electronic sound to textured indie-rock, the duo is laid back, multi-dimensional, and completely worth taking a listen to. Catch two singles from their upcoming self-titled EP that’s due out late July.
Finally, Vindata is back, and their sound is a limitless as ever.
Off of their upcoming EP, Paradigm, the duo have just dropped new single, “Being,” which is an absolute sultry jam. I like this dip into future r&b, it sounds like a natural direction for the gentleman and comes out effortlessly.
Along with some new, check out some of their previous tracks below.
TOMORROW (6/25) Chicago’s The-Drum release their debut full length album, Contact (via Audraglint Recordings). The vinyl also comes with a pressing of last year’s originally digital only Sense-Net EP.
Check out a little album teaser below and go pre-order that shit! (I did) And if you’re in the NYC area tomorrow head on over to Glasslands Gallery to catch their album release show as well as their very first performance in New York! (I’ll be there )
The London pop duo, Thumpers, croon love stories amongst heavy dance rhythms, searing synthesizers, and one of the catchiest choruses you will ever hear. Their new single, “Unkinder (Tougher Love)” is a bit melancholic in content but will still make your limbs feel restless.
Watch the video above and be sure to mark your calendar for the release of their debut EP, Unkinder, through Transgressive Records.
