Tokyo Police Bullshit Party In The U.S.A.

I’ve noticed I’ve been posting sort of the same type of music lately so I’ve decided to switch it up a bit.

Welp, I did a looking browsing around and the band Tokyo Police Club recently took on the ambitious task of recording 10 tracks in 10 days from the past 10 years. A pretty cool idea right? Some of those tracks range from Jimmy Eat World’s “Sweetness” (which is an absolutely fantastic song) to Kelly Clarkson’s “Since You’ve Been Gone” to LCD Soundsystem’s “All My Friends”. But one special little tune really caught my ear…well firstly my eyes when I saw it at the bottom of the track list. The band did a cover of Miley Cyrus’ ”hit” (haha) single Party In The USA”. It’s certainly not amazing or profound but it is just all around entertaining, so I wanted to share it with you all.

Throw this one on one of your house party mixes!

-And lastly, I promise that this will be the VERY last time in the foreseeable future, and quite possibly for the rest of the existence of What’s Protocol? that you will ever see the name Miley Cyrus show up here – :)

Enjoy!
