Big fan of this guy, Carter Tanton. It’s sort of hard not to be.
He blends psych/folk perfectly with that languid voice. You truly aren’t even sure where his single, “Twentynine Palms (ft. Sharon Van Etten),” but right around the minute 30 mark, the song warmly breaks wide open. And who can’t love that perfect female cameo?
Lots of great things happening in this track, which gives me extra motivation to pre-order his upcoming album, Jettison the Valley, come pay-day on Friday. Have a listen below, enjoy.
