[Sunday Listening] Ain’t Done Too Bad – Mecca:83 aka Rise

The man, the myth, the legend. If you’ve got any sort of ears on the UK beat scene then isn’t a stranger to your iTunes library. On the regular, this guy is creating and dishing it all out for free. His latest, and unfortunately his last, follows that same equation.

Keeping this dude on my radar over the past few years has been a delight to my inbox. With his Expansions Collective, listeners are always getting more and more with a chockfull horizon. But, as many know, people need to take steps back, re-evaluate and organize, in order to move forward. Respectfully, Mecca:83 is doing the same. We may not be hearing many originals from him anytime soon, but he’ll still be there producing and undoubtedly influencing and taste-making along the way.
